Dark and lovely

I stopped into a chemist in Chennai looking for deoderant and facial wash. Here is how that exchange went down.

Me:Where is your facial wash?

Clerk: I'll show you. I have a great one for you. This one is called Fair and lovely. It will give you a nice, clear, bright complexion.

Me: By brighter you mean?(I knew exactly what she meant)

Clerk:Clearer.

Me:By clearer you mean?

Clerk:Lighter.

Me: Naw...You got any dark and lovely?

*Blank stare*

Hello my loves,

Its been a while. I can't believe I've been gone for more than two weeks already. So far I've been in Mumbai, Palolem and Anjuna(both in Goa), spent a blistering and scary 9 hours in Chennai  and I am now in Sri Lanka and loving it! I have so much to fill you in on, but I want to take my time and do a proper job—not rushed at a seedy Internet cafe. For the next little while, I will post updates on twitter @intrepid30. Today is a glorious day! The Sound of Music cast reunites on Oprah, I've got a date and its my nephew Boobers first birthday. Amazing!

I 've had an interesting week spritual healer, accupunture, and meditation... I had a great day yesterday. I had lunch with a friend, went to a meditation class(which was very informative and will help me in my practice) and a date later in the evening. I'm in the midst of a cyclical mood swing and don't care to write about the date at the moment. I'll do it a bit later. Dueces!
